WHO WE ARE

Champion Fitness is a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Electronics Inc (CEI). CEI has been providing solutions for fitness equipment repair and maintenance professionals since 1998. CEI has worked closely with the Expresso brand performing field repairs, installs and complete CPU rebuilds. “We intimately understand the Expresso product and have worked with them since the beginning” says Tom Strickland, CEO.  As the partnership developed, Tom realized the best structure to meet the needs of Expresso customers would be to delegate a team to this endeavor and create a separate company, Champion Fitness.  The need for an efficient equipment repair lifecycle has created a focus on e-business solutions for distributing parts and service to the fitness industry’s service providers that play a role in the IFH initiative to support the legacy Expresso products.

Tom and his team are responsible for multiple innovations related to fitness equipment and health club management with the most recent being the launch of FitnessEMS, a cloud based fitness equipment management system.  We expect that Tom and his Champion management team will bring the same drive and innovation to the table in serving Expresso customers. “We are excited to develop a support system for such an innovative product.”   With a state of the art electronics repair facility employing multiple technicians with vast experience in component level PCB repair Champion is ready for the task. “We repair and rebuild a multitude of products specifically for the fitness industry such as circuit boards, motor control boards, AC/DC motors, brake/generators and personal viewing screens” says Tony Pinkerton, who holds a BS in Computer Engineering and will assume the Operations Manager roll for Champion.

Each team member that Champion put in place to serve the Expresso line each has a minimum of 15 years experience in component level repair.  Strickland says that this requirement and other rigid practices will insure that the Expresso experience is as good for legacy products as it is for the new products.
