Complaint: Unit dead or won't come on.

What to Check:

  • Make sure the unit is plugged into a good outlet and turned on.
  • Listen for fans running on computer housing. If no fans are running, press the reset button on the computer and see if fans come on.
  • If fans do not come on, the computer is defective and should be removed for repair.
  • If fans come on after resetting, check the next step for the monitor.

Monitor Not Working

Complaint: The computer comes on, but the monitor is off.

What to Check:

  • The best check for this is to swap the monitor with another working monitor to see if it comes on. If it does, then the monitor is defective.
  • If the good monitor does not come on, then the problem is the computer.

What to Check:

  • You can try to re-calibrate the steering and add a line filter on the steering mechanism potentiometer, but more than likely, you will need to upgrade your steering unit by replacing the potentiometer with the new ESU kit.
